Hello Everyone, I want to wish all of you a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow. I remember back years ago, on Mother's Day we all went to church as a family. The people that had mothers alive wore a red flower and those whose mother was deceased wore a white flower. You either wore a flower from your garden or purchased one. Lot of carnations were sold that weekend and it was a big day for florist.
Now, some got creative and made their own flower from "crepe paper". Many of flower arrangements my mother and I use to make from "crepe paper". Do any of your remember this product. It was strong, in all colors, and was stretchy so you could shape it.
When I am stamping, I often think of my mother. She would have had a blast with rubber stamps. Any new craft idea that came around, she was into it and most often, had me into it up to my neck. You name it, and we probably tried it. Guess the apple does not fall to far from the tree.
